Scope: New Deck/Porch Construction with Wheelchair Lift Accommodation and Paver Walkway Installation
Ace Home Medics completed a custom deck/porch project in Wakefield, MA, designed specifically to accommodate a new wheelchair lift and provide a safe, accessible egress for the homeowner. While the wheelchair lift was installed by others, our team constructed a code-compliant, structurally sound deck to serve as the base platform for the lift and ensure seamless accessibility to the home.
In addition to the deck, we installed a durable paver walkway leading to the new entry point. The walkway was built over a properly compacted stone and stone dust base to ensure long-term stability and drainage. Fine sand was swept into the joints for a clean finish and added structural integrity.
